As another school year begins, the Martin County Health Department would like to extend our warmest wishes to all students, teachers, school staff and families for a safe, healthy and successful year.

The start of a new school year brings fresh opportunities to learn, grow, and make lasting memories. We encourage everyone to prioritize their health by getting plenty of rest, staying hydrated, eating nutritious meals, washing their hands often, staying active and showing kindness to others.

To all of our students—from those walking into school for the very first time to our graduating seniors—we hope this year is filled with new friendships, exciting opportunities and achievements both inside and outside the classroom.

Do not forget to check that your child’s school immunizations are up to date. If you have questions about immunization requirements or need to schedule an appointment, the Martin County Health Department is here to help.
