Conley Horn
1954—2026

Conley Horn, age 71, of Inez, passed away Aug. 12, 2026, at his home.

Born December 8, 1954, in Martin County, he was the son of the late Riley “Tootsie” and Francis (Crum) Horn.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Bobby Joe, Riley Jr. and Ronald Horn; sister Patricia Thornton; paternal grandparents, Sam and Dixie (Hammond) Horn; maternal grandparents, John and Zettie Crum; sister-in-law Connie (Whitt) Horn; brother-in-law Mark Thorne; and nephew Dennis Brian Horn.

Conley is survived by his loving wife, Arizona (Moore) Horn of Inez; one son, Gary Lee (Amy) Reed of Lexington; and one daughter, Mandy (Dustin) Dials of Inez. He is also survived by three grandsons, Jeramie Reed of Miami, Florida, Tyler Reed of Richmond and Hunter Dials of Inez; one granddaughter, Hope Dials of Inez; and one special niece, Katie Moore. Also surviving are his sister Deidre Horn (Kevin) Moore; sisters-in-law Dorothy Robinson, Virgie Muncy, Judy Cline and Mary Estep; brother-in-law, Ballard Moore; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Conley’s passing leaves behind many friends and family members who will always remember him as a devoted husband, dad and grandfather. He was one of a kind.

Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 15, 2026, at Crum Funeral Home in Inez, with ministers from Big Elk United Baptist officiating. Burial took place at the Mountain Valley Memorial Garden in Inez under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
