There is a tombstone that says, “Here lies old Jake, stepped on the gas instead of the brake.” That was bad for Old Jake, and it is bad for our world today.
Today it looks as though the end-time events as described by prophecies in the Bible have stepped on the gas and our world is plummeting toward the judgment of God.
I have studied Biblical Prophecy for 55 years and I have never seen so many events coming together as they are today.
Consider first the super sign of the soon return of Christ that God gave the world: Israel. The Bible says that Israel would be scattered throughout the world and then brought back to their land in the last days. And the Bible even told us that when Israel would be brought back to their land, they would flourish economically, militarily, and most importantly, the whole world would be against them.
This has come true today. Anti-Israel sentiment has spread all over the world. The American politicians, universities, celebrities, news media, and the American Church have turned against the Jewish people and God’s land of Israel. God has made dozens and dozens of prophecies that His people Israel and His land of Israel would be His forever. What part of forever does not mean forever?
Consider the second super sign: Apostasy in the world. Jesus said, “When the Son of man cometh will He find faith on the earth?”
Today men and women would rather have a spiritual experience than know Jesus. Forget about sin against God and accountability to God. God is love and love will win in the end.
Nations are offended by the Bible. It might hurt people’s feelings and we cannot have that.
And as Kirk Cameron says, “No one goes to hell anyway.”
Also, the basic laws of God concerning marriage, family and decency have been cast aside by our “Supreme Court,” and most churches are going along with it. Along with that, there are racial tensions, sexual perversions, and no regard for basic human decency all over our land. I have never seen such a time as this where apostasy abounds. I never thought we would ever get this far from God.
Consider the Third Super sign: Wars and rumors of wars and digital currency. We are headed toward a one-world economy. Economically, the United States and most all modern nations have debt that is not payable. A global economy is already here. Then you see that almost everyone is at war today—nation against nation.
The Bible says that when these signs begin, they will increase and escalate quickly. We already see that today.
The truth is we need someone who can unite everyone in the world and we need them now. We need someone who has the answers and a plan. For the Christian, that person is Jesus Christ. For the world, that person is the Beast, also called the Anti-Christ. I would urge you that if you are going to do anything for Jesus, you had better do it soon. If you have been lazy in your Christian faith, I implore you to get to work, for night is coming when no man can work.
