Homer Evans (arraignment) – 1. Public intoxication controlled substance (excludes alcohol);  2. Possession of controlled substance, third degree, drug unspecified; 3. Prescription controlled substance not in original container, first: Pleaded not guilty, pretrial conference 8/11/26 at 9:30 a.m.

Lige Marcum (arraignment) – Assault, fourth degree, domestic violence, no visible injury: Bench warrant, $500 cash.

Courtney Megan Mills (arraignment) – Leaving scene of accident/failure to render aid or assistance; criminal mischief, first degree; no operator’s/moped license: Preliminary hearing 8/11/26 at 10:30 a.m.

Brandi Moore (arraignment) – Criminal littering: Dismissed at request of the Commonwealth.

Clyde Emery Pack (motion hour) – Drug paraphernalia-buy/possession: Pleaded guilty; six months to serve; credit time served. Cost waived due to defendant completing treatment. Bond to be returned to surety.

Sabrina Wiley (arraignment) – Resident fishing without a license/permit: Allegations taken as true, $25 fine and cost. Show cause 1/12/27.

Carlos Edward Barton (pretrial conference) – Conspiracy cruelty to animals, second degree, amended to cruelty to animals, second: One-year conditional dismissal – no new violations of law and not to allow chicken fighting on property or engage in chicken fighting. Cost waived.

Shane Bishop Cockrell (pretrial conference) – Speeding 16 mph over limit: Proof of state traffic school shown.

Mary Damron (pretrial conference) – Assault, fourth degree, child abuse; endangering the welfare of a minor; alcohol intoxication in a public place, first and second offense: Reset 9/22/26 at 9:30 a.m.

Laura N. Harmon (pretrial conference) – Harassment, no physical contact: Two-year diversion on the condition that the defendant has no direct or third-party contact with minor children. Defendant is not to make a Facebook account pretending to be friends of the minors to contact children. Defendant is not to make social media posts referring to or mentioning the juveniles. DCPT 7/28.
