Claudine Dillon, 44, of Kermit, West Virginia, died July 29, 2026, in Lexington.
Born May 28, 1982, she was the daughter of the late Woodrow Dillon and Edwina Dillon.
Claudine was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, aunt and friend. She was known for her kind heart, unwavering strength and deep love for her family. Above all, she loved and adored her precious daughter, KyLee, who was the greatest joy of her life. Claudine was endlessly proud of the remarkable young woman KyLee had become and cherished every accomplishment, milestone and dream she pursued. Her love for KyLee was unconditional, unwavering and evident in everything she did.
To her nieces and nephews, she was affectionately known as “Aunt Roo,” a title she wore with pride and love. She treasured every moment spent with those she loved and never missed an opportunity to make lasting memories with her family.
Throughout her life, Claudine overcame countless obstacles with remarkable courage and determination. She was the strongest fighter her family had ever known. Despite every challenge she faced, she chose to live life to the fullest, embracing each day as a precious gift and making the most of every moment she was blessed to spend with her wonderful family. Her resilience, love and joyful spirit will continue to inspire all who knew her.
In addition to her father, Claudine is preceded in death by her beloved twin sister and best friend, Pauline Dillon and her grandparents, Claude and Nora, and Lon and Ada.
Along with her loving mother, she leaves behind to cherish her memory: her cherished daughter, KyLee Alyse Alley; her sisters, Lucinda (Ernie), Theresa (Shane) and Debbie (Ed); her brothers, Tony (Kari), William (Carrie), Paul (Michele), Kenneth (Jackie), and Josh (Kristy); her beloved nieces and nephews, Frankie (Ashley), Robbie, Kaelan (Ella), Kayli (LJ), Penelope, Brentley, Maddox, Knoxlee, Tara, Breanna, Zander, Jonathan (Hope), Silas, Malakai, Emily, Zack, Haylee, Shane, Ciara, Gavin, Brooke, Chloe, John, Caleb, Kaitlyn, Seirra and Krista, all of whom knew her as the very best “Aunt Roo.” She is also survived by her aunts, Claudette and Joyce, along with many extended family members and dear friends whose lives were touched by her love.
While our hearts will always be broken by the loss of Claudine, we find comfort and peace in knowing she is rejoicing in Heaven, reunited with her Daddy and her beloved twin sister, Pauline, whom she had waited so long to see again. Though she is no longer with us in body, her love, strength and beautiful spirit will live on forever in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, Aug. 1, 2026, at Callaham Funeral Home in Warfield, with Michael Bryant officiating. In accordance with Claudine’s wishes, cremation followed the service, and she was laid to rest beside her beloved twin sister, where they will be together once again at the Marcum Cemetery, Naugatuck, West Virginia.
Her memory will be treasured always, and she will be deeply missed every day.
