Mingo County BOE members start terms

WILLIAMSON, W.Va. — Newly elected members of the Mingo County Board of Education took the oath of office before the first monthly meeting in July.

Dr. Joetta Basile, Superintendent of Schools, welcomed the new BOE members and expressed her eagerness to work closely with them.

The new BOE members consist of Eric Roberts, Sabrina Grace, Justin Kirk and Deanna Wellman.

David Jewell, a holdover member, was elected as the BOE president for the coming year. Wellman was elected vice president.
