Donna Rae (Butcher) Watson
1940—2026

Donna Rae (Butcher) Watson, 86, of Broadway, Ohio, formerly of Martin County, passed away June 29, 2026, at Prestige Gardens in Marysville, Ohio.

Born May 8, 1940, in Martin County, she was the daughter of the late Hurmond and Ora (Cline) Butcher.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Grady C. Watson (Betsy Layne); sisters, Betty (John) Frank, Doris (James) Collins, Helen (Richard) Slyn, and Marsha (Steve) Melvin; and brothers, Charles T. Butcher and Don J. Butcher.

Donna is survived by one sister, Carol (Joe) Blankenship and brothers Dwight Butcher and Ken Butcher, all of Columbus, Ohio. She is also survived by her children, Grady C. Watson II of Florida, Kim (James) Landrum of Oklahoma and Jenifer Lee of Texas, along with 11 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in her memory to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or Old Union Church of Christ, Marysville, Ohio.
