INEZ — Future Cardinals will have the chance to sharpen their skills this August at the Coach Jason James Basketball Camp at Martin County High School.

The camp is scheduled for Aug. 3-4, from 9 a.m. to noon, at Martin County High School, 137 Hollybush Road, Inez.

Cost is $50 per camper, with additional siblings at $25 each.

Every participant will receive a camp T-shirt.

The camp is for players K-12, boys and girls, looking to take the next step in their game, as well as beginners who want to learn the fundamentals of basketball. Instruction will focus on ballhandling, shooting, defense, rebounding, live play and more.

Campers will receive instruction from current and former players under the direction of Coach James.

James has helped build a proven championship culture at Martin County, including five 57th District championships, three All “A” 15th Region championships and two 15th Region championships.

Martin County Cardinals basketball will release a sign-up form with payment information in the coming days.
