Wells lands first college offer from Midway

MIDWAY — Martin County High School football player Brandon Wells received his first college offer June 23 from Midway University.

Wells is a 6-foot-1, 265-pound offensive lineman for the Cardinals and projects as a member of the Class of 2027. He primarily lines up at center and guard for Martin County.

The offer marks a milestone for Wells as he continues to gain attention heading into his senior season.

Wells is also a two-sport athlete for the Cardinals, competing on the wrestling mat and on the football field. His strength, size and experience in the trenches have helped him develop into a college prospect for Martin County.
