Dennis Roy Hall
1957—2026

Dennis Roy Hall, 69, of Betsy Layne, formerly of Inez, passed away June 24, 2026, at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville.

Born March 22, 1957, in Dorton, he was the son of the late Lester and Edna (Trivette) Hall.

In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by three brothers, Nolan Eddie Hall, Ronnie K. (Carla Watts) Hall and Paul Michael Hall.

He is survived by his wife, Amy (Mulkey) Hall of Betsy Lane; one son, Dennis Allen (Bridgett) Hall of Georgetown; one daughter, Erica (Jose) Diaz of Elkhorn City; two brothers, Billy Joe Hall of Pikeville and James Arthur (Trish) Hall of Van Lear; and three sisters, Carol Sue (Garold) Wells of Van Lear, Alice Mae (Elvis) Justice Winchester and Diane (Tim “Snoopy”) Collins of River. Dennis is also survived by three grandchildren, Brandon Diaz, Bella Hall and Oliver Hall.

Funeral services were held Saturday, June 27, 2026, at Calvary Freewill Baptist Church in Virgie with Paul Wayne Browning and the Calvary Freewill Baptist ministers officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
