Janice Faye (Kirk) Maynard

Janice Faye (Kirk) Maynard, age 80, of Inez, passed away June 21, 2026, at the Martin County Healthcare Facility in Inez.

Born Feb. 27, 1946, in Matewan, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Everette and Romaine (Goble) Kirk.

Janice is survived by her loving husband, Prentice Maynard of Inez; one son, Charles Richard (Sherrie) Crum of Louisa; three brothers, Charles E. Kirk of Inez, Hubert D. Kirk of Beverly Shores, Indiana, and Terry D. Kirk of Great Cacapon, West Virginia; and three grandchildren, Brady Crum, Jamie Painter and Cameron Painter.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 24, 2026, at 3 p.m. at Crum Funeral Home in Inez with Chip Gauze officiating. Burial will follow at the Mountain Valley Memorial Garden in Inez. Friends may visit at the funeral home June 23 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
