PIKEVILLE — Drug offenses, burglary, theft and persistent felony offender allegations were among the charges returned by the Pike County grand jury June 16, with 14 individuals indicted on a range of felony and misdemeanor offenses.

Patricia Adkins, 39, of Pikeville, stands indicted on third-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking, first-degree criminal mischief, and first-degree persistent felony offender.

Keith Boyer, 41, of Pikeville, has been indicted on charges of theft of property mislaid or delivered by mistake and first-degree persistent felony offender.

James C. Byrd, 34, of Virgie, was indicted on first-degree possession of a controlled substance.

Glen D. Conn, 30, of Prestonsburg, was indicted on charges of first-degree criminal mischief and violation of an emergency protection order.

James E. Crowe, 26, of Stanton, was indicted on charges of first-degree criminal mischief and violation of an emergency protection order.

Amanda Graham, 37, of Matewan, West Virginia, was indicted on two counts of first-degree possession of a controlled substance and one count of possession of drug paraphernalia.

Austin Jones, 42, of Pikeville, has been indicted on charges of trafficking marijuana, second-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Judy S. Jones, 70, of Elkhorn City, stands indicted on charges of first and third-degree possession of a controlled substance, DUI, no insurance, prescription not in proper container, reckless driving and failure to produce insurance card.

Timothy Justice, 40, of Pikeville, has been indicted on third-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking and first-degree criminal mischief.

Remona Mills, 54, of Peewee Valley, was indicted on charges of third-degree burglary, theft by unlawful taking and first-degree persistent felony offender.

Coti Perkins, 38, of Pikeville, stands indicted on first-degree possession of a controlled substance and public intoxication.

Layne Rose, 46, of Hellier, was indicted on first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance.

Amanda Thacker, 44, of Sidney, has been indicted on charges of first-degree possession of a controlled substance, DUI, first, and no license plate.

James Worrix, 42, of Pikeville, has been indicted on DUI, second; first- and second-degree possession of a controlled substance; possession of marijuana; receiving stolen property; first-degree persistent felony offender; prescription in improper container; first-degree flee/evading; no license plate; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

An indictment is an accusation and not a conviction. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
