Mingo County arrests

WILLIAMSON, W.Va. — The Mingo County Magistrate Court clerk’s office and local law enforcement agencies released the following arrests and bookings that range from drug trafficking and burglary to computer fraud and domestic battery.

Two people were arrested by the Mingo County Sheriff’s Department (MCSD) and the U.S. 119 Drug Task Force for possession of a large quantity of meth. Mary Lou Sidney, 36, of New Camp, Kentucky and Eric Mitchell-Rodgers, 32, of Detroit, Michigan, were arrested and charged with drug conspiracy and possession with intent to deliver methamphetamine.

Their arrest occurred at a residence at Big Splint Hollow near Nolan, where officers say they recovered 1.7 pounds of meth and $1,945 in cash.

Bond for each was set at $50,000 by Mingo County Magistrate Dave Justice.

Tina M. Arthur, 52, of Williamson, was arrested by MCSD Deputies M. Tiller and R. Moore, with assistance from WVSP Trooper Johnson, for breaking and entering and grand larceny.

Katie Marie Kenney, 36, of Whitman, was charged with petit larceny for an incident at the Dollar General Store in Williamson. She was arrested by Williamson Police Department (WPD) officer J. T. McCown.

James Earl Gannon, 40, of Williamson, was charged with breaking and entering, transferring stolen property and grand larceny. The alleged crime happened at Chattaroy. He was arrested by WVSP Trooper Z. S. Holden.

Shawn Hicks, 49, of Chattaroy, was charged with receiving and transferring stolen property. He was arrested by Trooper Holden.

Regina Toler, 51, of Hanover, was charged with computer fraud, petit larceny and fraudulent schemes. Gilbert Police Officer J. Collins arrested her.

Paul Thomasson, 39, of Delbarton, was charged with domestic battery and destruction of property. He was arrested by Trooper J. C. Morrison.

Eric Jordan of Williamson was arrested by Deputies J. May and B.T. Sipple, with assistance from WVSP Trooper Morrison, on an outstanding circuit court capias for a probation violation.

All defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in a court of law.
