Mary Elizabeth (Crum) Avery
1972—2026

Mary Elizabeth (Crum) Avery, 54, of Oil Springs, passed away June 10, 2026, at Appalachian Regional Hospital in Paintsville.

Born Feb. 7, 1972, in Prestonsburg, she was a daughter of the late Dennis and Ethel (Easter) Crum.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jacob Avery. Survivors include two sons, Colby (Peggy Hampton) Avery of Nicholasville and Cameron (Felicia Webb) Crum of Georgetown; three brothers, Clyde Harless of Lexington, James Fletcher of Inez and Rush Fletcher of Paintsville; and one sister, Grace Blevins of Oil Springs.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, June 13, 2026, at Crum Funeral Home with Roger Harless officiating. Burial followed at the Crum Family Cemetery in Debord. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Crum Funeral Home to assist with funeral expenses.
