KERMIT, W.Va. — The Town of Kermit is working to repair a major water line break that has disrupted water service and reduced water pressure for customers in Kermit and surrounding areas.
Town officials said crews located the leak and continue repairs Monday night. Work will extend late into the evening and water pressure will return fully to the system until sometime Tuesday morning.
Officials apologized for the inconvenience and said they will provide updates as repairs continue.
Customers will be under a boil water advisory for three days once service is restored. Bring water to a rolling boil for three minutes before using it.
