Polly Ann Spaulding
1937—2026

Polly Ann Spaulding, 88, passed away peacefully at her home June 1, 2026.

She was born Oct. 25, 1937.

Polly was a devoted member of Perry Point Church in Jesus Christ for 69 years. She was known for her kindness, faith and dedication to her family and friends. She leaves behind many cherished memories that will be treasured by all who knew and loved her.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Flem Messer; her sisters, Jennette, Virgie, Arizona, Dixie, Angie and Loma; and her brothers, John and Kessler.

She is survived by her loving niece and caregiver, Verlie (David) Brewer, as well as many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends who will deeply miss her.

Polly’s life was a blessing, her memory a treasure, and she will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

The family would like to extend a special thank-you to Chapman House Health and Dignity Hospice for their compassionate care and support.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, June 3, 2026, at Perry Point Church in Kermit, West Virginia, with David Brewer and Ken Allen officiating. Burial was at the Perry Point Cemetery, under the direction of the Callaham Funeral Home of Inez.
