
Vincent Robert Lawson of Louisa, a graduate of Martin County High School, will graduate from Morehead State University with exceptional distinction. He earned double majors in legal studies and sociology along with a minor in gender studies.
A member of Phi Eta Sigma, Lawson completed 145 credit hours in six semesters.
He was named Outstanding Student of the Year in sociology and social justice, an award recognizing the program’s top student.
Lawson will graduate summa cum laude, the university’s highest academic honor reserved for those who achieve sustained excellence at the highest level.
He plans to attend law school and pursue a career in law.
