Katrina Guinn (Fugate) Muncy
1964—2026

Katrina Guinn (Fugate) Muncy, age 61, of Inez, passed away April 20, 2026, at Three Rivers Medical Center in Louisa.

Born July 6, 1964, in Williamson, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Edna (Evans) Fugate.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Prentice “Niles” Muncy.

Katrina is survived by her husband, James Hammonds of Inez; two sons, Prentice Henry (Sissy) Muncy of Pilgrim and Justin Tyler (Tiffany Jones) Muncy of Dorton; three brothers, Henry (Debbie) Fugate of Inez and Craigory Tyrone Fugate and Travis Dean Fugate, both of Warfield; three sisters, Sheila (Bob) Maynard and Marletta (Mike) McGinnis, both of Inez, and Elaine (James) Mills of Lawrence County; two grandchildren, Ivan and Evelyn Muncy; a host of nieces and nephews; friends who were more like her sisters, Kathy Chapman Moore, Sandy Jude Mullins and Brenda Mullins Jude; and her fur babies, Chance and Sammy.

Katrina was of the Church of God faith.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Crum Funeral Home with Tim McCoy officiating. Burial followed at the Evans Cemetery in Lovely. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
