Ralph Moore
1939—2026

Ralph Moore, 86, of Inez, passed away April 6, 2026, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.

Born Dec. 16, 1939, in Martin County, he was the son of the late Thurman and Mary (Stacy) Moore.

In addition to his parents, Ralph was preceded in death by his wife, Tilda (Dials) Moore; two sons, Glen Ray Moore and Delmar Moore; one daughter, Melissa (Mickey) Jude; and one brother, Johnny Moore.

Ralph is survived by two sons, Vernal (Diana) Moore and Ralph Mitchell (April) Moore, both of Inez; two daughters, Diane (Richard) Mills and Teresa (Larry) Mills, both of Inez; three brothers, Glen Moore of Kermit, West Virginia, Bobby Moore of Flat Gap and Freddie Moore of Pilgrim; and three sisters, Cora Stanley of Pilgrim, Orie Dials of Debord and Bertha Jude of Germantown. Ralph is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted Friday, April 10, 2026, at Crum Funeral Home in Inez, with Brent Haney officiating. Burial followed at the Moore-Dials Cemetery of Inez, under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
