
Doris Morrison
1948—2026
Doris Morrison, 77, passed away peacefully April 17, 2026.
Born April 25, 1948, in Tomahawk, she was the daughter of the late Mae and Dock Sites.
She grew up in a large family in Kentucky before later moving to Ohio.
Doris was the loving mother of three children, Micky, Brian and Travis. Her life centered around caring for her family, and she was known as a mother figure to many beyond her own children.
Doris enjoyed simple pleasures in life. She loved sewing and making quilts, and she had fun going to yard sales and flea markets where she could spend time connecting with others. In the kitchen, she was resourceful and skilled, able to prepare delicious meals with whatever she had on hand, always making sure no one went without. She took pride in her gardening and always had a yard full of beautiful flowers that was envied by all. She enjoyed watching the Ohio State Buckeyes football and cheering on her team.
Above all, Doris devoted her life to caring for those she loved. She was the heart and center of her family, leaving behind a legacy rooted in love, compassion, strength and resilience.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her longtime partner and soulmate, Craig Kaiser; the father of her children, Clay Farley; her beloved son, Brian Farley; and her siblings, Mabel, Nancy, Louise, Sammy, Johnny, Sharlene, Rita and Leon.
Doris is survived by her children, Micky Albright and Travis (Sue) Farley, and daughter-in-law Patty Farley; her siblings, Dock Sites, Lloyd Sites and Mary Bowling; her grandchildren, Ashley and Emily Albright, Shane and Troy Farley, and Brandon and Jeremy Farley; and her great-grandchildren, Brydon Farley, Faye Haney and Caden Farley.
She will be remembered for her love, her kindness, and the strong role she played in holding her family together.
A visitation will be held Thursday, April 23, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Schoedinger Grove City, 4242 Hoover Road, Grove City, Ohio. She will then return home to Kentucky, where her funeral will take place Saturday, April 25, at noon at Callaham Funeral Home, 278 West Main Street, Inez, Kentucky. Interment will follow in Tomahawk at the Sites Family Cemetery.
