LOGAN, W.Va. — Senior Bailee Hall and sophomore Emma Lackey pitched back-to-back no-hitters in Tug Valley’s doubleheader sweep over Calhoun County, Saturday at the Chief Logan Recreation Center softball field.
In the opener, the Lady Panthers won 5-0 and took the second game of the twin bill 10-1.
Hall tossed a complete-game no-hitter in the opener, going seven innings and allowing no runs on no hits with seven strikeouts and just one walk.
In the second game, Lackey fired a five-inning no-hitter as TV mercy-ruled Calhoun County. Lackey gave up one unearned run and no hits with 12 strikeouts and two walks.
Hall also hit a home run in each game, giving her four on the season.
Tug Valley had five hits in the first game, led by Hall’s solo homer. Lackey added a double and Gracie Hynd, Bryleigh Fletcher and Payton Workman all had singles.
In the second game, the Lady Panthers had six base hits and took advantage of seven errors by the Lady Devils.
Hall went 2 for 2 with a homer and one RBI. Hynd went 2 for 3 with a triple and one RBI.

Catcher Paisley Bolyard added a single and two RBIs. Katie Hall also had a single while Caylee Steele had one RBI.
Calhoun County led 1-0 after half an inning by plating an unearned run before the Lady Panthers scored two runs in the last half of the first to take a 2-1 lead.
Tug Valley then scored five runs in the third and three more in the fourth to close out the scoring.
The Lady Panthers have a 7-3 record on the season.
