Lucille Rose
1961—2026

Lucille Rose, age 64, of Inez, passed away March 27, 2026, at Highlands ARH Medical Center in Prestonsburg.

Born Sept. 8, 1961, she was the daughter of the late Jesse Maynard and Gracie Maynard.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Ray Rose; daughter, Savannah Rose Marcum; two brothers, William (Martha) Maynard and Edward Maynard; three sisters, Geraldine (Abe) Cornette, Patty Pauley and Wanda Davis; and two infant siblings.

Survivors include Lucille’s son, Kenneth Alan Rose of Inez; four sisters, Rosalean (Randall) Chaffin (Randall), Kathryn (Cecil) Muncy, Nola (Edward) Haug, Gladys Lois (Lloyd) Lawson; five brothers, Jesse (Shirlene) Maynard Jr., Jeff (Brenda) Maynard, John (Elizabeth) Maynard, Darrell (Wanda) Maynard, and Lonnie Dale Maynard; and two grandchildren, Shawn Marcum and Kendra Marcum.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, March 29, 2026, at the Crum Funeral Home in Inez with Doc Maynard officiating. Burial followed at the Maynard Family Cemetery on Blacklog, Inez.
