Caldwell and Goble record hat-tricks

INEZ — Martin County remains undefeated (5-0) after handing Pikeville an 8-0 loss Aug. 26 for the Kentucky Farm Bureau Cup.

The contest took place in Inez.

Faith Caldwell and Maddy Goble both recorded hat-tricks with three goals apiece to lead the Cardinals.

Caldwell finished with four assists and Goble added one.

Maja Alm-Arnesen netted a goal and an assist for the Lady Cards.

Annaleigh Davis contributed a goal and Hope Caldwell dished out two assists to fuel Martin County’s scoring.

The Cardinals defense held strong with Bri Muncy collecting two saves in net.
