INEZ — Jono Cline and Maci Maynard are the Tommy’s Auto Sales Players of the Week.
Cline was named the Most Outstanding Wrestler at the Hatfield & McCoy 32 this past weekend in Pikeville.
He finished first in the 113 lb weight class after pinning Mikey Clark of Union in just under three minutes to capture the title.
Cline pinned Casey Owens of Greenup County in two minutes and 16 seconds in the quarterfinals. In his semifinal match he mercied Maverick Moore of Boyd County in three minutes and eight seconds.
Maynard has been a force in the paint for the Lady Cards this season after capturing nine double-doubles in 10 of their games.
She collected 14 rebounds and poured in 12 points in a 56-40 win over Lexington Catholic in the Holiday Classic. She also had three blocks, assists and steals.
Maynard fired in 17 points in a 54-49 overtime win to capture the 17th annual Florida Prospects Championship in Orlando over the weekend.
