Burley Ray Muncy
1961—2024

Burley Ray Muncy, 62, of Kermit, West Virginia, passed away Tuesday, July 2, 2024 at the Tug Valley ARH Medical Center in South Williamson, Kentucky.

Born Aug. 11, 1961 in Kermit, he was the son of the late Burley Muncy and Violet Marcum Johnson.

Burley is preceded in death by his siblings, Ova Scott, Delphia Jean Kirk, Eula Faye Copley, Basil Muncy and Flem Muncy.

He was retired from the Simmons Mattress Company in Columbus, Ohio.

Burley is survived by his children, Jamie Ray Crigger of Kermit, Andrew Brumfield of Ohio, Danielle Harrod of Frankfort, Kentucky, and Natasha Stanley of Crum, West Virginia, as well as six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and one on the way. Burley also leaves behind his special nephews, Eric and Brandon Muncy, as well as a host of extended family and friends.
