Jennifer Marie Hammond
1970—2024

Jennifer Marie Hammond, 54, of Inez, passed away Thursday, May 2, 2024, at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Huntington, West Virginia.

Born March 7, 1970, in Louisa, she was the daughter of Roger Gradie Hammond of Salyersville and Janice Marcum Adams of Louisa. She is preceded in death by maternal grandparents Ezra and Esta Mae Endicott Marcum, her paternal grandparents Grady and Cosby James Hammond and her father-in-law Arlie Dingess.

In addition to her parents, survivors include her daughter, Ashley (Gene) Horn of Inez; her mother-in-law, Bessie Dingess; and two grandchildren, Brody Gavin Horn and Bryson Arlie Horn.

Funeral services were conducted Sunday, May 5, 2024 at 2 p.m. in the Crum Funeral Home chapel, Inez, with Albert Horn officiating. Burial followed at the Marcum Cemetery on Buffalo Horn. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
