Carol Pauley Parsley
1963—2024

Carol Pauley Parsley, age 60, of Inez, passed away April 24, 2024, at Highlands Appalachian Regional Hospital in Prestonsburg.

Born May 9, 1963, in Louisa, she was the daughter of the late John Henry Pauley Jr. and Sue Scott Pauley.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Lora Hoffman.

Survivors include two sons, Brett Michael (Alicia) Parsley of Maiden, North Carolina, and Dwayne Parsley of Marion, North Carolina; three brothers, Lon (Barbara) Pauley of Pilgrim, Calvin Pauley and Jody Pauley, both of Inez; and two sisters, Zola (James “Buddy”) Howell and Gayle Howell, both of Inez. She also leaves behind one grandchild, Jackson Parsley, several nieces and nephews and Cathy Chapman, who was like a sister.

Funeral services will be Sunday, April 28, 2024, at 1 p.m. in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home, Inez, with Arnold Fletcher officiating. Burial will follow at the Caney Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
