Write a last will and testament for free May 8 in Inez

INEZ — Livelihoods Knowledge Exchange Network announced it will conduct a will-writing clinic from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. May 8 at the Martin County Cooperative Extension Office. Residents can meet with an attorney and write a simple will at no cost.

There are no eligibility requirements for the clinic. However, to participate, attendees should RSVP by emailing kslovinsky@likenknowledge.org.

LiKEN will share information about its Appalachian Heirs’ Property Coalition. According to a LiKEN press release, the coalition offers to help residents organize legal documents and clear up heirship property title issues.
