Ferris, Hale make All-State teams, Davis honorable mention

The state championship Tug Valley Panthers basketball team was well represented on the Class A All-State team released March 25.

Braydun Ferris of Tug Valley

Sophomore point guard Braydun Ferris was on the First Team, while junior guard Kaden Hale was on the Second Team and junior guard Ashton Davis was an Honorable Mention All-State selection.

The 5-10 Ferris, Tug’s point guard, led the Panthers in scoring this season as he averaged 15.4 points a game. He also was tops in assists, handing out 146 on the season for an average of 5.4 per contest.

Kaden Hale of Tug Valley

Hale was a 3-point specialist for the Panthers and led them in scoring several games this year.

Ashton Davis of Tug Valley

Tolsia’s Parker Watts was a Second Team selection.

The All-State Team was conducted by the West Virginia Sports Writers Association members.
