Sew n Sew Quilters stitch raffle quilt for animal rescue

“Doggie in the Window” is 50X60 inches with a black and white checkered backing. The quilt, crafted by Sew n Sew Quilters, is being raffled to raise funds for animal rescue operations.

INEZ — In a display of community and creativity, Sew n Sew Quilters of Martin County have stitched together help for animals in need. Their latest masterpiece, dubbed “Doggie in the Window,” is a fundraising effort to support animal rescue operations in Eastern Kentucky and neighboring states.

This quilt, measuring 50×60 inches, features a black and white checkered backing.

Raffle tickets are available for $2 each, or a bundle of three for $5. Those interested in participating in the raffle can purchase tickets through PayPal by sending their payment to lfroschauer1@gmail.com or danettawells2014@gmail.com. It is important to note “Quilt” in the payment description and include a phone number for contact.

Those who prefer can purchase directly from any member of the Sew n Sew Quilters, including Pam Ward, Kay Ward, Lynn Horne, Donna Horn, Debbie Preece, Tammy Slone or Nancy Froschauer.

The drawing is set for Saturday, May 11, at 11 a.m. at the Collier Center in Inez.
