Kentucky State Police arrest two on drug charges

SALYERSVILLE — Kentucky State Police arrested two individuals Thursday after illegal drugs were discovered during a routine traffic stop.

KSP Post 9’s Criminal Interdiction Unit conducted a traffic stop in the Salyersville community of Magoffin County. During the investigation, they seized approximately 51 grams of suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a firearm.

Jerry Finch, 46, of Salyersville, and Felisha Crace, 34, of Jackson, were arrested and lodged in the Big Sandy Regional Detention Center on charges of trafficking controlled substance first offense (methamphetamine), possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, possession of drug paraphernalia. Finch was also charged with other traffic-related violations.
