Bonnie Jean (Evans) Dalton
1946—2024

Bonnie Jean (Evans) Dalton, age 77, of Lovely, passed away March 21, 2024, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland.

She was born July 27, 1946, in Williamson, West Virginia, to the late Homer and Christine Stepp Evans.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, James Dalton; her son, Jimmy Dalton; one daughter, Tracy Dawn Horn; one brother, Terry Dean Evans; one special brother-in-law, Junior York; and two nephews, Mike and Kyle Evans.

She is survived by one daughter, Tammy (Randy) Rogers of Lexington; her daughter-in-law, Michelle Dalton Sturgill of Fort Gay, West Virginia; one brother, Gary (Debbie) Evans of Lovely; and three sisters, Wanda York and Betty (Cliff) Keener, both of Lovely, and Pat (Mike) King of Inez. She is also survived by six grandchildren, Tyler (Miranda) Rogers, Trevor Rogers, Brittany Dalton, Adam (Taylor) Dalton, Allison Horn and Lauren Horn, and four great-grandchildren, Kinsley, Colton, Harper and Madelyn.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to her caregiver, Edith Maynard.

Bonnie was a member of the Oppy Church of God for many years.

Funeral services were conducted Saturday, March 23, 2024, in the chapel of Crum Funeral Home, with Mike King officiating. Burial was at Riverview Memorial Garden in Louisa. Arrangements are under the direction of Crum Funeral Home of Inez.
