Martin County Arrest Report

INEZ — Martin County Sheriff John Kirk’s Office reported the following arrests:

Clarence Kazee

Clarence Kazee, 57, of Inez, was arrested Tuesday on Blacklog Road in Inez on a warrant for terroristic threatening and menacing. Chief Deputy Chris Kidd made the arrest.

Alexander Joseph, 43, of Tomahawk, was arrested Monday on Route 40 in Tomahawk on a bench warrant for court. Kidd made the arrest.

Darrell Damron

Darrell Damron, 60, of Paintsville, was arrested Monday on Route 40 in Tomahawk on a bench warrant for Floyd District Court. Kidd made the arrest.

Kelly Simpson

Kelly Simpson, 45, of Paintsville, was arrested March 7 on New Route 3 in Debord for theft by unlawful taking or disposition shoplifting under $500. Sheriff Kirk made the arrest and reported that Simpson allegedly stole mascara valued at $11.66 from the Dollar General in Debord.

William Joseph Stapleton

William Joseph Stapleton, 50, of Paintsville, was arrested March 7 on New Route 3 in Debord on a bench warrant out of Johnson County. Sheriff Kirk made the arrest.

Darrell Otis Bowen

Darrell Otis Bowen, 51, of Tomahawk, was arrested March 6 on Mullett Branch in Tomahawk for terroristic threatening in the third degree and a bench warrant. When Sheriff Kirk arrived at Bowen’s residence to execute a warrant, Bowen walked out of the home onto the porch wearing only his underwear and threatening to kill the sheriff.

“He told me to get off his property, that I wasn’t taking him anywhere,” the sheriff reported. “He said he was going to shoot me, then went back into the trailer and refused to cooperate.”

Bowen eventually surrendered, and on the way to the cruiser he threatened the sheriff again.

Kathy Jo Williamson

Kathy Jo Williamson, 52, of Tomahawk, was arrested March 5 on Ford Place in Tomahawk on a warrant. Constable Brad Preece made the arrest.

Caleb M. Patrick

Caleb M. Patrick, 27, of Pilgrim, was arrested March 6 on Emily Creek Road in Pilgrim for assault, fourth degree (domestic violence), minor injury. Sheriff Kirk reported Patrick fought with a female, putting a red mark on the right side of her neck.

Emily Katelyn Patrick

Emily Katelyn Patrick, 29, of Pilgrim, was arrested March 6 on Emily Creek Road in Pilgrim for assault fourth degree (domestic violence), minor injury. Sheriff Kirk reported that Patrick fought with her husband, striking him in the right temple.

Bradley S. Bryant

Bradley S. Bryant, 26, of Riverside Apartments, Warfield, was arrested March 6 at Riverside for violation of a Kentucky EPO/DVO and two bench warrants out of Pike County. Sheriff Kirk made the arrest.
