Martin County Arrest Report

INEZ — Martin County Sheriff John Kirk’s Office reported the following arrests:

Jason Goble

Jason Goble, 40, of Paintsville, was arrested Sunday on a bench warrant for court.

Amy M. Bowen

Amy M. Bowen, 52, of Warfield, was arrested Thursday at Riverside for public intoxication of a controlled substance (excludes alcohol). Sheriff Kirk was dispatched on a complaint that a female was impaired.

William Messer

William Messer, 34, of Kermit, West Virginia, was arrested Thursday at Zip Zone in Inez for operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license and no insurance. Chief Deputy Chris Kidd reported that Messer crossed the center line while turning into Zip Zone. The officer discovered the offenses during the traffic stop.

Michael Mills

Michael Mills, 25, of Inez, was arrested Thursday on North Wolf Creek in Lovely for operating on a suspended or revoked operator’s license, no insurance, and no or expired registration. Deputy Kidd observed Mills pulling out of Lovely Zip Zone at a high rate of speed and with an extremely loud exhaust. Upon further observation, the deputy noticed the expired registration, prompting a traffic stop.

Amanda Jude

Amanda Jude, 34, of Kermit, West Virginia, was arrested Thursday at Zip Zone in Inez for public intoxication. Deputy Kidd reported Jude was a passenger in a vehicle, had slurred speech, difficulty concentrating and trouble keeping her balance. Jude allegedly stated she had done suboxone and THC.

Jason Mollett

Jason Mollett, 42, of Tomahawk, was arrested Thursday in the Martin Circuit Courtroom on a bench warrant.

Adam Maynard

Adam Maynard, 39, of Pilgrim, was arrested Feb. 14 on South Wolf Creek, Pilgrim, for terroristic threatening. Kidd made the arrest.

Alicia Howard

Alicia Howard, 41, of Inez, was arrested Feb. 14 in Beauty on a bench warrant. Kidd made the arrest.

Jessie Cook

Jessie Cook, 25, of Louisa, was arrested Feb. 14 on Blacklog Road in Inez for operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol and failure to produce insurance card. While Deputy Kidd was at the scene of a vehicle accident, Cook approached at a high rate of speed and locked his brakes up in an attempt to avoid striking Unit 1 cruiser. Upon making contact, the deputy noticed a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage. He described Cook as having glassy, bloodshot eyes and slurred speech. Cook allegedly stated he had been drinking the night before and since 5:30 a.m. that morning: “I know I’m drunk.”

Brittany Gilmore

Brittany Gilmore, 34, of Inez, was arrested Feb. 14 in Inez on a fugitive from another state warrant. According to the police report, Gilmore was indicted in Clermont County, Ohio. Deputy Kidd made the arrest.

Michael David Dean

Michael David Dean, 53, of Erlanger, was arrested Feb. 14 on Blacklog Road, Inez, for possession of marijuana and two counts of first-degree possession of a controlled substance (drug unspecified). Sheriff Kirk was dispatched to the scene of a vehicle in the ditch on Blacklog. Dispatch reported a complaint that Dean may be impaired. The police report states Dean had a strong odor of marijuana about him. Dean provided the sheriff with a baggie containing marijuana, 21 white pills that he said identified as Xanax, and a powdery substance that he identified as Ecstasy.

Christopher Stacy

Christopher Stacy, 52, of Pilgrim, was arrested Feb. 13 on Emily Creek Road, Pilgrim, on a bench warrant. Sheriff Kirk made the arrest.

Curtis Ray Bowen Jr.

Curtis Ray Bowen Jr., 35, of Lovely, was arrested Feb. 13 on Emily Creek Road, Pilgrim, for driving on a DUI-suspended license, failure of non-owner operator to maintain required insurance and no/expired registration plates. Sheriff Kirk made the arrest.
