Martin County High School Football wins Mountain Citizen Player of the Week honors for the second time this season for their exceptional performance and continued success in the postseason.

The Cardinals blew Betsy Layne away 35-6 in the second round of the KHSAA Class 2A playoffs Friday in Inez. The team is heading to the final 8 limelight Friday in a clash with Beechwood in Fort Mitchell.

The Cardinals tout a 7-5 record and carry the Class 2A District 7 title.
