INEZ — Martin County High School Lady Cards Soccer team is the Mountain Citizen Player of the Week.

The Lady Cards secured a 10-0 victory over Shelby Valley in the first round of the regional tournament Oct. 4 at home.

Their remarkable achievements this season have reverberated throughout the state, solidifying their place as a dominant force in high school soccer.

The team capped off the 2023-2024 season with an impressive 16-3 record, having clinched the conference title. They also won the 15th Region All “A” Classic championship and made it to the state Elite 8.
