Eden Elementary Spotlighting Paws-itively Wonderful Wildcats

Eden Elementary would like to recognize several different groups of people that have exhibited “paws-itive” behaviors that are noteworthy of celebration. Every week, we would like to showcase a student from each grade level and a staff member/group of staff. We will also be spotlighting a community partner who has gone above and beyond to positively impact our school. This community partner will actually remain in the spotlight for two weeks.

Our school staff always looks for opportunities to encourage students to demonstrate excellent character, behavior or effort. Our school hopes to create a “paws-itive” culture for students, staff, and our community where they truly feel valued as we spotlight these Wonderful Wildcats!

We would like to recognize the Eden Elementary bus drivers for always going above and beyond for our students on the bus to and from school on a daily basis. Between getting our students to school on time and providing a safe experience on the bus, our school bus drivers are true heroes. Our drivers also have to deal with all student behaviors while on the bus and make it a safe and enjoyable place to be for all of the students. We love each and every one of you — Jessica Kirk, Dana Copley, Tim Brewer, Connie Brewer, Glemia Dalton, Kevin Hinkle, and subs Barb Blackburn and Shawn Bowen.

Community Partner

We would like to recognize the Martin County Cooperative Extension Office for all of their collaboration on so many different programs and events involving our school as well as other schools in the district. Some of these initiatives/programs include 4-H Youth Development and Camp, Building Strong Families, Ag & Natural Resources, including the Martin County Beekeepers Association. The office also collaborates with our Family Resource Center in hosting various programs such as Grandparents as Parents and participating in our Annual Historical Day to provide many student activities.
