Patsy Ann Preece

1961—2022

Patsy Ann Preece, 61, of Warfield, went home to be with the Lord Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022, at her sister’s home.

Born May 8, 1961, in Pilgrim, she was the daughter of the late Abraham and Mirtie Robinson Preece. She is preceded in death by her brothers, David (Crock) Preece and Bobby Joe Preece, sister Connie Sue Preece, nieces Sharon Fraley and Chrystal Preece, and nephews Jarrod Daniel Bowers and Christopher Ray Marcum.

Patsy was a homemaker and member of the Inez Church of Christ.

Survivors include her son, Justin (Brittany) Maynard, grandson Rayce Maynard of Prestonsburg, siblings Donald Lee (Gaye) Preece of Pilgrim, Paul D. Preece of Columbus, Ohio, Randall Preece of Warfield, Betty Bowers of Louisville, Mary Sammons of Warfield, Brenda Kay Moore of Louisa, and half-sister Beth Jude of Pilgrim.

Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, 2022, at the Mullins Family Funeral Home in Warfield. Funeral services will be conducted at noon Monday, Sept. 12, 2022, with James Russell Maynard officiating. Burial will follow in the Warfield Cemetery, under the direction of Mullins Family Funeral Home.
