Lady Panthers bow out, lose to No. 2-ranked Gilmer County
BY KYLE LOVERN MOUNTAIN CITIZEN NAUGATUCK, W.Va. — The Tug Valley Lady Panthers saw their season come to an end with a co-regional final lost to highly ranked Gilmer County 63-33 Tuesday night at the TVHS gym. Tug Valley had reached the Class A, Region IV final with an upset win over sectional rival Tolsia last week.

BY KYLE LOVERN MOUNTAIN CITIZEN GLENHAYES, W.Va. — The Tug Valley Lady Panthers won the Class A, Region IV, Section 1 championship on Thursday night, defeating perennial power Tolsia 42-39 in a game at Tolsia High School in Wayne County. Coach Seth Ooten’s team has battled adversity all season with injuries and a tough regular season schedule.

BY KYLE LOVERNMOUNTAIN CITIZEN NAUGATUCK — The second-seeded Tug Valley Lady Panthers held off a fourth-quarter rally by Man on Monday night in a Class A, Section 1 semifinal match-up as they ended the Lady Hillbillies season with a 50-38 victory. Man came into the tournament as the No. 3 seed. With Tug up 45-22
