Senior Citizens Center to benefit from grants

BOE accepts bids, contracts for 2022-2023 school year

Cassady Avenue safe again
Cassady Avenue in Inez is safe again after the Martin County Road & Bridge department finished repairs Friday. The road slipped more than a year ago and deteriorated to the point that it was dangerous, according to Inez Commissioner Dennis Hall and Terry Fraley, who reached out to Martin County Magistrate Jarred Goforth for help.

County increases budget by $765,000
BY ROGER SMITHMOUNTAIN CITIZEN INEZ — Martin County Fiscal Court will conduct the second reading of its fiscal year 2022 budget in a meeting June 16.
