CITIZEN STAFF REPORT INEZ — A Martin County grand jury indicted a Warfield man Thursday for alleged methamphetamine possession. John Preston, 41, of Warfield, is charged with first-degree possession of a controlled substance. Hardinville sewer fixed
Christine Maynard was glad Friday to see Martin County Sanitation repair the sewer lift station at Hardinville Road in Inez. The sanitation department had discharged raw sewer into Maynard’s yard and the stream behind her home since January while residents’ complaints went unanswered.
