CITIZEN STAFF REPORT GREENUP — Martin County Lady Cards started the summer season playing five games in two days. They went 4-1 with a runner-up finish in the Border Wars June 2-3 at Greenup County High School. Coach Robin Newsome took 11 players to the event and rotated players in and out every four minutes.

Juveniles arrested for murder
CITIZEN STAFF REPORT GREENUP — Two Greenup County juveniles were arrested Wednesday for the murder of a family member in Greenup. Kentucky State Police detectives say Thersa Martin, 49, was shot and stabbed in her bedroom by a family member under age 18. The homicide occurred in the 900 block of Darby Hollow Road. Police
