MCMS softball drops two games
BY BOO NEWSOME MOUNTAIN CITIZEN The newly formed Martin County Middle School softball team dropped two games last week against Lenore 10-0 and Crum 12-0. The Lady Cardinals faced off against visiting Lenore and lost 10-0 in four innings March 28. Emma Lackey pitched the no-hitter for Lenore striking out nine batters and walking three.
