Two Martin County High School girls basketball players were honored last week for surpassing 1,500 career points. Seniors Laken Williams and Katie Marcum have each esclipsed the point plateau. Martin County coach Robin Newsome presented each with a custom 1,500 career point basketball during the Lady Cards vs. Johnson Central game Jan. 29.
