Sampson Jamie Haney

1973—2022

Sampson Jamie Haney, 48, of Delbarton, W.Va., passed away Sunday, Oct. 2, 2022, at the Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.

Born Nov. 6, 1973, in Williamson, W.Va., he was the son of Sampson and Sandra Brewer Haney.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his two daughters, Elaina Brooke Haney and Sara Elizabeth Haney, both of Delbarton, W.Va., and sister, Julie (Tony) White of Holden, W.Va. He is also survived by his niece and nephew, Hannah Alexis White and Jacob Anthony White, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins.

Jamie was a retired coal miner, a member of the Kermit United Baptist Church and an avid hunter and sports enthusiast. He was a loving dad to his two daughters.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday, Oct. 6, 2022, at the Callaham Funeral Home Chapel in Warfield, with Freddie Messer officiating. Burial was at the Family Cemetery in Dunlow, W.Va., under the direction of Callaham Funeral Home of Inez.
