INEZ — Brooke Proctor was crowned 2022 Martin County High School Homecoming Queen at the Cardinals game Friday versus East Ridge.

Last year’s Homecoming Queen, Skyla Messer presented the crown to Proctor.

“I’m so grateful and appreciate everyone who voted for me,” Proctor said. “I’m ecstatic and in shock to receive Homecoming Queen. Congratulations to all the girls. Everyone was so deserving, and I’m happy to be surrounded by the group of girls that were here tonight. I love all of them. They’re amazing people.”

Proctor, the daughter of Josh and Stephanie Proctor, plans to attend Big Sandy Community and Technical College next year to become a dental hygienist.

Tori Crum is a member of the Martin County tennis team and was named first runner-up.

Savannah Young plays soccer for the Cardinals and was named second runner-up.
