SALYERSVILLE — Martin County volleyball came away with a hard-fought victory against Magoffin County on the road Sept. 19.
The Lady Cards went head-to-head in five sets against the Hornets.
Martin County came out confidently and won the first set 25-19.
The Hornets were determined to win on their home court and won two straight sets 25-15, 25-14.
Martin County bounced back and pulled away a close win 25-23 in the fourth set.
The two team captains met at the net as a fifth set would determine the victor.
The Lady Cards meant business and dominated 15-5.
The team hosted Magoffin on Monday and will travel to Johnson Central for a 6 p.m. start time Thursday.
