Mark Franklin Carter

1965—2022

Mark Franklin Carter, 56, of Lovely, passed away on Sept. 3, 2022, at his home.

Born Nov. 8, 1965, in Kentucky, he was the son of the late George (Irene) Carter and Caladonia (Ladybug) Maynard. He is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Rebecca Carter, grandparents Henry (Elizabeth) Carter and brothers George (Robin) Carter and Billy Joe Spence.

Mark is survived by his children, Josh Webb, Michelle (Eric) Brown and Christy Runyon; grandchildren Cory, Brianna, Cody, Jason, Erica, Gracie and Suzie; and great-grandchildren Marlee and Sophia. He is also survived by his siblings, James (Rutt) Carter, Curt Spence, Linda Conforti, Sally Carter-Grim and Angela (James) Vanhoose, and nieces and nephews, Sara, Dolores, Elizabeth, Rosella, Abby, Caressa, George, Timmy and Shannon.

Mark “Dog” loved his family and friends.

Funeral services were conducted Thursday, Sept. 8, 2022, at Mullins Family Funeral Home, Warfield, with baptist ministers officiating. Burial was in the Warfield Cemetery.
