Rhoda A. Cassady

1931—2022

Rhoda A. Cassady, 91, of Lancaster, Ohio, formerly of Martin County, passed away Sept. 5, 2022 at her residence.

Born Feb. 10, 1931, in Inez, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lucy Ward.

Rhoda was a member of Faith Memorial Church and loved the Lord.

Survivors include her son, Stephen (Sheila) Burford; grandchildren Christopher, Shawn (Ruth), Jameson, Rachel (Glen), Courtney and Nathan; brother, Rev. B.J. (Pearl) Ward; and many great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husbands, Milton Burford and Russell Cassady; daughter Barbara Burford; and brother James “Tom” (Gay) Ward.

Funeral services will be at noon Saturday, Sept. 10, 2022 at the Callaham Funeral Home in Inez, with visitation starting at 10 a.m. Burial will follow at the family cemetery in Inez.
