Rose Mary Ferguson
1954—2026

Rose Mary Ferguson, 72, of Kermit, West Virginia, died June 25, 2026, at Cabell-Huntington Hospital in Huntington, surrounded by her loving family.

Born Feb. 4, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Irene Fitzpatrick and Owen and Faye Haney.

Rose Mary worked as a waitress.

She was a Baptist.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers Clyde Copley, Larry Fitzpatrick and Donald Fitzpatrick and sisters Shirley Ann Fitzpatrick and Nearie Marie Fitzpatrick.

Survivors include Rose Mary’s children, Eric (Kelly) Hundley and Debbie (Waynebug) Williamson; grandchildren Brandon (Kinna) Ward, Megan (Shane) Williamson, Wayne (Liv) Williamson, Whitney (Mark) Doss, Racheal (TJ) Perry, Eric “Bub” Hundley, Matthew Williamson, Isabella (Dillon) Ferguson and Kashlor Hundley; great-grandchildren Waylon, Avery, Ian, Eli, Mallory Rose, Amaya, Silas, Oliver, Archer and Merritt; brothers Owen Jay (April) Haney and Mike (Crystal) Haney; sisters Debbie (Bill) Evans, Darlene Cline, Romana Fitzpatrick and Myrtle Sue (Jr) Finley; special friend Lilly Mae Williamson; and a host of family and friends.

Funeral services were conducted June 27, 2026, at the Fairmont United Baptist Church with Luke Prince officiating. Burial followed at the Haney Family Cemetery in Dunlow.
